Adding the header code to your (new) Blogger template
Here are some (hopefully) wicked easy step-by-step instructions for adding your Mister Linky header code to your Blogger template.
Step 1
First things first, of course. You’ll need to go to your blogger dashboard, click on Layout, and then on Page Elements:

Step 2
Next, click the “Add a Page Element” link.

Step 3
Select “HTML/Javascript” — click “Add to Blog”

Step 4
1. Leave the title blank — otherwise it will show up on the screen, which isn’t what you want.
2. The header script that you copied onto the clipboard — paste it here into the page element box.
3. Click “Save Changes”

Step 5
Now you have a new “HTML/Javascript” page element, but it’s probably in the wrong place. You MUST drag it into position ABOVE the “Blog Posts” box.

Step 6
See how a light-colored box appears where the element will land — when it’s right above the “Blog Posts” box, let go of the mouse button.

Step 7
Your “HTML/Javascript” element should be positioned above the “Blog Posts” box. If so, you’re (almost) done!

Step 8
Don’t forget to save your template!
